About Arboro
“This is what every family needs. This is groundbreaking.”
One year ago, Lindsay and Jenna left their jobs as teachers and founded Arboro Empowered. They knew that there were better ways for families to be supported locally. Using their knowledge of child development, their personal experiences as parents of young kids, and their passion for finding the possibility within difficult situations, Arboro was born.
Their mission is to provide families with resources and experiences designed to empower both children and their parents. The reception has been overwhelming. One year in, and every week parents are participating in support groups led by child psychologists, parenting experts, and wellness experiences. Students are learning Spanish through play, discovering new concepts through hands-on science experiments, developing a love of learning through book clubs and math fact games, testing theories through engineering challenges, all while building confidence and grit.
